Sassy Cheryl's #165 GIRLS RULE!

...AND boys drool!

An Ace in the Hole & Who Burst Your Balloon

...just sayin'

This week, amazing Pat is our hostess at Sassy Cheryl's, and the theme is Girls Rule.  Hmmm...I wasn't really sure what to do with that, but I knew I wanted to incorporate rulers.  I had this Tim Holtz paper in my stash, but wasn't really sure how it would look with these fun images.

I colored them up and popped them on, took the photo, posted and thought, "Ack-ick!"  I did some serious fussy cutting.  Clearly Max ties in with the DP, but Maddie?!  Then I thought, "That's okay---she rules, so she needs to totally stand out."

Now, it's your turn!  Let's see what you do with this theme!

  1. Fabulous. Tim Holtz paper is adorable! I didn't know there is also his paper. I must look around.
    Have a nice day.

  2. hahaha....what perfect paper! too cute, Ann!! love the flags too! adorable card

  3. Hey there Miz Ann! Yep...you got that right...Maddie definitely MUST stand out! I love that you have both of these cute SC images together...clearly Maddie is superior...since her balloon remains beautifully shiney, not to mention inflated! hehe! That DP is such fun...I didn't get it at first...but I do now...rules/rulers! duh! Brilliant idea...wish I'd have thought of it!! Such fun banner in the corner too! Definitely love this!! Hugs. Pat

  4. Wow, Love the images, and your coloring and fussy cutting. The TH dp is awesome. I thought it was different tape measures layered. The pendants are cool. Awesome card.

  5. LMBO! But you're right. . .Maddie rules! Love it Ann.

  6. Love that paper choice too and your sentiment looks fabulous. My goodness I wish I had a dime for every time I heard that saying, nut this is the first time I have heard it in years. Look it. Too cute. I
